11th Annual Montecristo Golf Classic

The location of this year’s golf tournament will again be at Cahoon Plantation in Chesapeake, VA. Cahoon Plantation is a 7,141 yard championship golf course that has been designed to bring the feel of Europe to Virginia. Molded from flat farm land, the course is a wide-open, rolling 18-hole gem that is the only entire bent grass golf course from the Outer Banks, NC to Williamsburg, VA. Emerson’s Cigars is delighted to again work with Altadis USA, the World’s Largest Cigar Company, to host this year’s tournament. As many of you know, Altadis USA is the maker of some of the world’s most popular cigar brands, Montecristo , Romeo and Julieta, Trinidad, Por Larranaga, and more. This golf tournament is going to offer you the chance to learn about and sample some of the world’s best cigars along with playing some fabulous golf.
Included in the entry price, each golfer will receive the following:
- 18 holes of golf with cart (1pm Shotgun, 4 Player – Scramble Format)
- 1 bucket of range balls (warm-up starts at noon)
- 1 Goodie Bag with a Tournament Golf Shirt and other items
- 5 Cigars for golf
- 1 Cigar during the Awards Ceremonies
- 1 Box Lunch (turkey, ham, or roast beef sandwiches )
- 2 Drink Tickets (good for beer or non-alcoholic beverages during the round)
- 1 Country Cookin’ Dinner during the Awards Ceremonies
Prizes will be awarded for First & Second Place teams in 2 Flights as well as individual prizes for “Closest To The Pin” and “Longest Drive”. All of these winners will be announced immediately following the round of golf during the Awards Ceremonies/Country Cookin’ Dinner at the golf course. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit The USO of Hampton Roads and Central Virginia. Rain Date will be Sept. 18, 2018. Tournament day registration begins at Noon with a 1PM Shotgun start.
