Romeo y Julieta, one of the oldest and most respected brands was created in 1875 by Inocencio Alvarez. Later acquired by world-renowned cigar master Jose Pepin Garcia, the old Cuban traditions and characteristics that went into this cigar are alive and well in the Romeo y Julieta 1875. Though based on a Greek tragedy, there's nothing forlorn about these cigars. The 1875s have a smooth draw with a very pleasant aroma. The mellow earthy flavors with a slight bit of spice produce that signature white ash that will have you reciting iambic pentameter from the balconies.
